I will be visiting Denmark later this year with family for a wedding and wanted to ask about wheelchair accessibility as I am struggling to find a clear answer anywhere.

We will be flying into Copenhagen, and from there are supposed to be traveling via train to get to Stevns town hall. Will there be any issues with this? Getting off or on the train or out of the stations?

Also, from what I gather, buses are generally wheelchair accessible in the capitol but I have no idea about elsewhere. From the town hall, we are supposed to be going to Solgårdsparken to take some nice photos and will need the bus to get there. Wanting to check that I will be able to get onto the bus without issue, are there ramps to get onto the bus?

Lastly, if you are a wheelchair user are there any hotels in Copenhagen that you particularly recommend? Thank you.

It depends on when you are going. I am a local, and normally you would be fine with public transportation the whole way from the airport, but they are relaying tracks at the end of your train trip, from Hårlev to Store Heddinge. Until that is done the are replacing the train with tourist busses, and I don’t know how easily accessible they are.

Your trip to Solgårdsparken should be fine, normal busses shouldn’t be a problem.
