It was the "desert dweller" portion, you fool.
Deserts exist in all 7/6/5 (delete as educationally applicable) continents on this planet so it’s not the best choice of wording regardless of what they’re trying to say. I’m not debating, I’m just stating.

Of course. Judge a man by his actions, not where he was born/lives geographically.
Sadly, child marriage is consistent throughout western and eastern culture, and is coming back to Tennessee, US. Only since 1980-1990 did we care about child sexual assault, and conservatives are more concerned with the license than with whether or not kids are getting hurt.
Child labor is also returning while kids can't get consistent school lunch programs or healthcare. It seems we struggle to actually care about kids.l
The USA struggles. The civilised world does not.
Without more specific details, I don't trust that the safety of kids is assured in other industrialized nations either. I'd hazard a guess that kids in Germany might be more protected now but I don't have any data. I'm also not sure what definition of civilized you might mean, what with Canada, the UK and Australia showing ongoing struggles with barbarism.
My guy, this is America. We love child rapists in America. We build larger-than-life statues of them and stamp their faces all over our money.
We have living Presidents who have flown on the Lolita Express and been described as a "White Hat Pedophile" by their most ardent supporters.
Try to find something a Muslim has done that Americans actually hate. Like feeding the starving or housing the homeless or providing health care to the infirm.
