Clear all your app caches.
I have. It doesn't work. I've deleted all app data, then uninstalled and reinstalled my apps. They will not stay logged in.
I also cannot stay logged in on a web browser.
My account is effectively locked out and unusable despite being technically able to authenticate a login.
In my case spamming actions eventually works. It's a problem with api requests or something along those lines. I have to keep trying until a request succeeds and goes through.
The problem is that I cannot stay logged in so it doesn't matter what I spam. I'm immediately logged out by force almost instantaneously after logging in.
It tells me I'm logged out but if I keep trying it acts as if I'm logged back in again. I originally thought it was logging me out every time I tried logging in, but I found that if I just kept trying it would eventually register me as logged in. Like right now I'm having to attempt to post this reply multiple times because it fails several times before succeeding eventually. It's possible that we're having slightly different issues, I'm just saying what worked for me ๐คท
I don't know if I have the patience for that lol! Also I generally prefer to browse on mobile apps anyway, and I don't think your method would work with them.
I've been using liftoff the whole time, it usually only takes a handful of tries for the things that need multiple api requests, and often works after 2 or 3 tries for everything else. I'm just too lazy to resubscribe to all the communitoes I've managed to gather on my lemmy.world account lol.
