Can I block everything from lemmit.online? (lemm.ee)

So I love using lemmy, but I browse all a lot in order to discover more communities as Lemmy is still growing a lot.

However, I’m really annoyed with the lemmit.online bot. For those unfamiliar, users can request the bot to automatically x-post popular post to Lemmy. The annoying thing is that these posts are almost never interacted with as they are clearly marked as bot posts.

I can’t seem to find a way to block the user account or lemmit.online as a whole.

Anyone face the same issue and have a solution?

You could always just toggle off/uncheck the 'show bot accounts' option in your account settings, that's what I have done...👍🏼

I ended up blocking the account via the web interface.

You can do it in-app too. Click on the username, then hit the three-dot menu at the top right. “Block User” will be an option.
