Used, obviously. But there's no way I'm ever gonna afford a $50,000 car.
Comparing what I can afford to what EVs are available, however, is not disingenuous
What if I want to vent about Ford not making enough base model Lightnings and only selling the base model through dealers who then mark up the limited numbers to the same price as the luxury/premium trims?
I can be as specific as you want, I was just busting your chain, lol. Last January there were only 3 base models east of the Mississippi in Chicago, Durham, and Orlando and all dealers wanted $30,000 over msrp. I wish there was one in Nowhereton, KY. I could've taken my uncle to the dealership and bought it off the A plan without the dealership balking.
An affordable electric truck is my white whale. In the meantime, I bought a Bolt EUV to give to my daughter when she's ready to drive. It's a fun little vehicle.
I've been wanting an EV since I saw the ads for electric conversions in the back of my dad's old Mother Earth News
If you want an EV so badly and usually buy used vehicles, a 2020 Chevy Bolt can easily be had for around 12k. The fact you haven't even bothered to look makes your entire comment chain seem like trolling.
What makes you think I didn't look?
If you look back in the articles here, you can find one about large numbers of used EVs coming on market and finally lowering prices. The big headliner iis Hertz selling 20,000 used Teslas
