We ask that non-socialists please be respectful and try not to turn this into a "left vs right" debate forum by asking leading questions or by trying to draw others into a fight.

I live in Maine, and didn't know about pine and roses. thanks for the heads up.

oh yeah, the chapter there is mostly confined to Portland but is one of the best organized DSA chapters i'm aware of and tries to do the best that it can with the power it has. last year they ran a whole slate of ballot questions in the city and while most of them didn't pass it was really cool to see
