Adding to the price of living… I live in a city with approx 15-20k people in Jutland.
My house cost me around 9000 DKK in mortgage a month, but that’s 225 square meters, with 800 square meters garden, it’s a newly renovated home, with new kitchen/bathroom and new roof, new windows etc. It’s in a nice, quiet neighbourhood but still close to shopping etc. So quite comfortable.
Which is totally affordable for a family where both mom and dad works at McDonalds.

225m2 house in Rønne. Paid off, but I give around 1500 a month for the property tax thing.
