Hi all,
I'm currently in negotiations to move to Denmark for work.
I am pushing for highly paid employee tax schema (https://skat.dk/en-us/businesses/employees-and-pay/non-danish-labour/tax-scheme-for-researchers) and the offer I got is following:
- base salary + 10% company paid pension ~
75,500 DKK/month.
Can somebody confirm if this would be enough to apply?
What I'm concerned about is following sentence from requirements:
"A requirement for registration as a highly paid employee under the scheme is that the employee must receive a minimum monthly salary of DKK 75,100 in 2024 (DKK 72,500 in 2023) after deduction of labour market supplementary pension fund (ATP) contributions"
I’m confused by this bit because how I read it is that the base salary needs to be on average 75,100 DK. Please help.

OP, just ask your potential employer, if they are used to hiring foreigners at that salary range, they know about the rules for this type of taxation

kqakgttYou’re right. I confused ATP with AMB. ATP is surely much less, but the salary including pension might be an issue none the less.

kqalufxHvilket også er grunden til at OP vil få mere ud af at spørge sin potentielle arbejdsgiver, i stedet for tilfældige mennesker på internettet. Jeg ved overhovedet heller ikke en skid om emnet, men det ligner at arbejsgiveren har sat løn+pension mistænkeligt tæt på grænsen, så mon ikke de har gjort sig nogle tanker

kqalv2vThank you both for replies. I’ll ask again (as proposed) to confirm. When I asked it seemed to me they didn’t know what I am aiming at. Might be they don’t know or just playing games.
