Hi all,

I'm currently in negotiations to move to Denmark for work. I am pushing for highly paid employee tax schema (https://skat.dk/en-us/businesses/employees-and-pay/non-danish-labour/tax-scheme-for-researchers) and the offer I got is following:

  • base salary + 10% company paid pension ~ 75,500 DKK/month.

Can somebody confirm if this would be enough to apply?

What I'm concerned about is following sentence from requirements: "A requirement for registration as a highly paid employee under the scheme is that the employee must receive a minimum monthly salary of DKK 75,100 in 2024 (DKK 72,500 in 2023) after deduction of labour market supplementary pension fund (ATP) contributions"

I’m confused by this bit because how I read it is that the base salary needs to be on average 75,100 DK. Please help.

Thanks in advance.
