Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Everything that’s happening is completely awful, but it is a bit nice to watch the the legacy Mitch cares so very much about evaporating in front of him before he dies
A legacy no would ever remember him for, ever. He'll leave many horrid and disgusting legacies when he finally finishes melting into goo and is scooped into his "burial jar" but none will be positive.
Realistically, no one ever cares anything about a pol once they've left office. No one thinks that old So and So was heroic because they have a bridge named after them. I've lived in NYC all my life and never once bothered to look up who Major Deegan [Major Deegan Expressway is a main thoroughfare]

Maybe we should, thought.
In 1922 he was considered a strong candidate to become national commander of the Legion at their convention in New Orleans, but was defeated due to his strong advocacy for admitting black veterans into the organization. Advocacy for the rights of black people was a strong theme throughout Deegan's career, including during his position as Tenement House Commissioner.
Yeah. Deegan seems like the kinda guy that at least deserves having a thing named after him. Meanwhile here in NY we also have a park named after TFG, and he threatened to take the land back if the state renames it..
