You’ll be just fine, no need to worry.
A second location would depend on your interests and timeline.
Aarhus is the second largest city and has a lot of attractions as well as nightlife opportunities. Aros and Den Gamle By are tourist favourites.
Odense is the third largest city, although it has more of a cozy small town vibe. It’s the birthplace of HC Andersen and a lot of their museums, cafes etc tend to be fairytale themed.
Roskilde and Helsingør are both pretty close to Copenhagen, beautiful and have a lot of interesting museums and buildings.
If you’re interested in modern art, Louisiana is worth a visit.
It’s a bit tricky to go to Bornholm, but it’s the favourite staycation destination for many Danes. Stunning nature, white beaches and quaint cafèes, museums and art studios. It can get very windy though. Almost the same goes for Skagen - in the opposite end of the country.
