I don’t usually post here (my account is used for something different), but I have to say that racism does indeed exist in Denmark, especially in the nightlife. I am a bit surprised that almost nobody in the comments address this. I don’t know about people with turbans, but I’ve heard and seen really racist things against black and middle eastern people - both in trashy and high end clubs. Not to make you worried, but just so you know to take precautions. I would not walk go out to clubs alone, if I were you. I would not walk home after being out (take a cab).
Generally, Nørrebro in Copenhagen is one of the most ethnic diverse communities, so I would really recommend this instead of e.g. Gothersgade.
I’m not saying Denmark is unsafe in that manner, but people with turbans are not that common here. And we do have some very right wing parties and extreme groups that are openly racists against people of different ethnicity. And I have to say that when I read the through the comments, I assume most people commenting on this are white men who has not experienced being part of a minority. I am a “ethnically Danish” woman and every single one of my female friends has experienced verbal harassment/assault or even rape, when going out.
I know there’s a difference between racism and misogynistic behavior, but it says something about the type of people that exist in Danish nightlife.

Thats what I am worried about because I was planning to go out solo on a weekend but looking at all the comments I feel it could get bad for me So maybe I’ll have to skip it cause after spending so much money I dont want to keep having negative thoughts. Lets see
