Hey guys,

I am a Sikh Indian guy and I was planning to travel to the happiest part of the world with my parents. We are Sikhs and we wear a turban on our head, Is Denmark safe for a vacation for us? I plan on enjoying the Copenhagen nightlife and am worried weather my look with a turban will be safe or not even at night at clubs and bars And along with Copenhagen which other part of Denmark would you suggest is a definite must visit.

Just be aware: the reason that Danes are the happiest people in the world is that we have very low expectations. The allows us to be happily surprised when things turn out less terrible than expected.

This approach to life is particularly useful when you visit the very appropriately named Little Mermaid.

Also worth noting that we're currently still in winter time, meaning most of us are slightly depressed from very short, cold days. Though, we do cope fairly well with mild alcoholism and vitamin d supplements, we're a much more jolly bunch in the summer time.

I respectfully disagree.

I’m not happy because of low expectations, I’m happy because I live a very safe, comfortable, lavish life. Where even in the odd chance of something bad happening, my taxes go towards a system that provides free high quality healthcare. Where education is free, from elementary school to university. Where compared to other developed countries, I can (and do) expect a fair trial in the justice system.

We rank as one of the least corrupt countries in the world and trust in our fellow citizens and our state, is ranked as highest in the world, or among the highest..I could go on.
