A place to discuss pro-conservative stuff

  1. Be excellent to each other. Civility, No Racism, No Bigotry, No Slurs, No calls to violences, No namecalling, All that good stuff, follow lemm.ee's rules, follow the rules of your instance, etc.

  2. We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

  3. Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.

A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

Remember, the government are not your friends. I think both the lefties and the righties can agree on that.

Without more information, it’s hard to know if they were a threat or over zealous prosecution.

Finally something that isn't just deflection or an attempt to put words in someone's mouth.

Let's see, he:

  • is a criminal (assaulting officers and destruction of government property during Jan 6th)

  • plotted to kill 37 FBI agents (including some that were investigating his criminal actions from Jan 6

  • is now charged with conspiracy, retaliating against a federal official, interstate communication of a threat and solicitation to commit a crime of violence

  • he "obtained a list of law enforcement personnel who participated in that criminal investigation and the two discussed plans to kill individuals on the list in conversations with a cooperating witness. Those plans included an attack on the FBI’s Knoxville Field Office." "A witness, who was described as a coworker and a very good friend to Carter, met with Kelley and Carter in early December when Kelley discussed assassination missions that would target federal agents." "On Dec. 13, Carter gave the witness an envelope from Kelley that contained 37 names and some phone numbers of the law enforcement personnel who participated in his criminal investigation, as well as a thumb drive of video footage from a warrant search of Kelley's home in May."

  • is quoted as having said “With us being such a small group we will mainly conduct recon missions and assassination missions.”

Seems reasonable to me to consider him to be a threat.
