This right after the article about the one Putin staffer who criticized Russia’s attack on the Ukraine.
There is no "the Ukraine", it's just Ukraine. Adding "the" implies it's a territory of some other country (i.e. Russia), which it is not.
The Russia is attacking the Ukraine. But fortunately countries like the France and the Poland are helping them defend themselves... the
