Is this game worth $70?
I bought it. From a pure content point of view, yes it’s absolutely a $70 AAA game.
Your enjoyment is going to depend on how much you like the core gameplay and building up your character.
It feels very much like destiny 2 in finding gear for your character. If you enjoy doing that you should enjoy doing it in this game too.
Honestly, not for me. I like ARPGs and this just isn’t very fun. The world feels flat and repetitive. The basic gameplay loop isn’t terribly engaging. I pick it up every now and then and after an hour or so I just quit out of boredom.
If you have friends to play with, yes. If not, wait for a sale.
I've been playing couch co-op with my partner and we're having a blast. The campaign is fun, progression comes at a good pace, and loot offers enough of a push to experiment and explore with builds.
D4 is a lot like Destiny in that it's not easy to find and link up with others players within the game.
