build was pretty smooth, having the right set of tools really helped a ton. bought the full ifixit screen removal set. happy to answwr any questions for anyone that is thinking about trying this!

Hey just curious, how was your experience with removing and re-attaching the screen? This is the part that makes me most nervous. Did you remove all the old adhesive? And what did you use? Did you scratch any of the black bezel (I have seen that happen in a few videos). How flush does the screen sit? Sorry for all the questions but I ordered the Jsaux one so I will be doing this myself in a few weeks and I am anxious haha

i used the ifixit iOpener along with their plastic pry tools which worked really well to get the screen off. and I ended up just scratching off the extra adhesive with my nail fpr fear of scratching the black bezel off. i managed to remove and reattach the screen flush and without any scratches in the black bezel, it just took a while and patient to remove all the old adhesive.
