Should old /r/vaporents posts be imported into Lemmy? Or separate? Both?

Hi guys, wanted to weigh in here as I've noticed the automated posting over here lately. My opinion is that scraping a bunch of posts with no comments is too intimidating and discourages people from engaging. I have no problem with stealing anything and everything from previous platforms, but I think it's smarter to do it subtly and in small doses.
Unfortunately, this community is fairly niche in the grand scheme of things. I think it's simply going to take more time to organically build, and I think the automated posts can sometimes disrupt that process by making it harder for people to see real engagement and participation.
It's your server so it's your call, but that's my two cents.
