Well, if you can't find a good place to put your eggs you can always get a good one with a bucket. You can usually find one in front of your house, and on the front lawn if you've been there. I'm not sure what kind of ham they used, but it's a good choice. It's a bit of a pain to shovel the gravel out, but it works well.
