Just commuting to work on the metro in Tokyo and noticed this lady's socks in front of me. Resisting the urge to trip her, I waltzed past and told her to "mind the gap" in Japanese. In hindsight, she might have thought I was talking about the gap between the platform and the train... Which would explain the puzzled look on her face 😅
