Eh, not really, but this does suggest that AM5 will get support significantly into the life of AM6.

which will be wonderful for budget upgraders/builders then just as this is now. i really hope it rings true. near top end performance for budget money is something intel cant touch

I still wouldn't bet on it...there is a lot that goes into it. We need to see how it performs if its true. Honestly I don't want to have a mobo for like 10 years, it might run a new CPU but the features will start to show its age by then. I will be happy with 2 gens a board with maybe a 3rd as a option if you still are happy with the board and want to get a little more out of it. At that point its time to move on.
