Temperature Question: Would it be a bad idea to place my new NAS in the HVAC room in the basement? When the furnace is on the room climbs to 30-35°C (86°F). (alien.top)

It's a new 2bay desktop TS-264. QNAP's recommended operating temp is 0-40°C (32-104°F).

Am I taking a risk running close to 40°C; it could get that high if furnace runs for a long time. Are the temp swings a problem (it's generally cooler than the rest of the house down there when furnace is off).

Any advice, tips, experiences please?

I run all my gear in the HVAC room. It's the only unfinished portion of the basement. I never had any issues.
