Oh man... it looked like good news with marginally cheaper food (assuming supermarkets pass the savings on - which they won't) but this just feels ominous.

Along with the talk about the grids I'm worried for summer.

That’s actually really sad. Reducing/banning live exports is a good thing. But surely the extra sheep could be processed and sold, it’s so wasteful when so many people would benefit from it either here or overseas. Also like many people I guess I’m a contributor, because I’ve been including more vegetarian meals in my diet. This is not a bad thing for people to be doing, but surely the industry could adjust in a less wasteful way? It just seems wrong.
