I'm an airplane tech, and the number of times I've taken screws from the prepick bin, not been able to install them due to access, and then taken ~~the~~ them home and washed them is too damn high. I have also washed plastic bags, sockets, a screwdriver once, rubber gloves, and zip ties.

My son loves to draw, so I washed plenty of pencils. Sigh.
