Only for a while.

Once the narrative changed he did comics showing the poor innocent insurrectionists being baited into attacking the capitol building. I think there were a couple "false flag" narrative comics too.

He's ok at drawing, but not understanding basic math such as "which number is greater" or "Trump lost by 7 million votes and 70 electoral college votes" is not his talent.

He's average, can you specify how bad he is at it? Its not like editorial cartoons are high art.

He's really not. Most political cartoonists at least try to keep their point simple and based in fact. Ben Garrison doesn't care if he's lying, and his point is usually so much of a reach that it's impressive he didn't hurt himself getting to it. Not to mention his love of way too much text. If you have to explain the "joke" that much, maybe rethink it.
