I tried Kachava and it didn't taste bad, but didn't taste great. It was very much a planty flavor with cocoa. It is fairly filling and not a hollow sort of filling like you get with Ensure, probably due to the fiber content? It has a sort of creamy texture that holds air from mixing it. It tastes better with milk instead of water. After mixing you kind of need to drink it right away or it gets kinda funky unless you drink it from a mixer bottle and give it a shake after it sits for a few minutes.
I do want to try other options, don't think I'd get Kachava again. I suspect that all of those meal replacement shakes will be a similar experience with a different taste.
