Greatest Barca player of all-time meets greatest real madrid player of all-time.

Top 5 for sure but Di Stefano, Puskas, Cristiano made a bigger impact

I think Zidane is a bigger madrid legend than Cristiano.

What? Real barely did anything in the years Zizou was there? He was there for five years as part of an insanely expensive project where he was basically the pièce de résistance, and not only did they only manage one league title (and one Champions League title), but they immediately bounced back after Zidane retired. It's some wild revisionist shit to claim Zizou a top-five legend in Real, and I'm saying this as a Barcelona fan.

This subreddit gets very weird about CR7. Sure he might be a bit of a dickhead but he is easily a bigger legend than Zidane for Madrid.

Do you really think that Zizou is a top-five Real player in history? I'm genuinely flabbergasted by this as a Barça fan, with the likes of Raúl, Casillas, Pirri, Gento, Míchel, Hierro, Paco Gento, etc. around. You're a massive club with a massive history, so I really can't understand elevating someone like Zizou to the top five. He was in Madrid for five seasons where you lot won one league title with Zizou as the pièce de résistance of an insanely expensive project. For the record, when Zidane announced his retirement, this is what he said: 'I don’t want to start a third year knowing I won’t be able to do better than I’ve done in the past. I don’t want another year like this one, or even the one two years ago... it’s been two years now that I haven’t been playing like I want to.' Zidane was, in the bigger picture, a disappointment in Madrid. Even, and perhaps especially, to himself.
