I genuinly think a good client can skyrocket the number of users. Even if users can just signup and browse all-active

Try Liftoff until Sync is ready - it's much smoother than Jerboa.

Just be mindful of the default 'All' view is literally all of the lemmyverse - via that view you can't interact with instances that you aren't logged on in.

Instead change it to be '[email protected]' to use it as normal.

Honestly I have mixed results and opinions with both Jerboa and Liftoff... Liftoff, for example, wouldn't even load a GIF that I posted when Jerboa would.

They currently also both randomly crash on me but I think that's most likely related to lemmy.world not being on version 0.18+ yet.
