Can someone calmly tell me why is everyone angry about this? Explain it to me with reasoning.

Like many Middle east & Asian countries also hate the west but i don't see them angry when a WC is hosted there. Is this because you can't raise a LGBT flag? Or is it because you can't handle watching football match without getting drunk?
