2038 will have to be CONCACAF again for the same reasons too.
That's probably how this is getting passed, give the Americans (Let's face it we're not having a world cup in the Carribbean) 2 World cups in quick succession under the table and then the FBI won't act.
Whole thing is corrupt all the way through, it is a cascading domino effect of tit for tat corruption. There won't be a proper World cup bidding process until at LEAST 2042, and even then odds are not good.
A Caribbean World Cup would be so cool.
