As an ex 6-figure Google/Alphabet software engineer, the reason you may be dissatisfied with the search results lies herein to your account history, ergo, your account may not be tailored to the content you search per-se. Have you tried clearing the browser cache and history?

The search sucks because of the seo poisoning, regardless of personal entries, which, by the way, most of privacy aware users have already disabled.
