I guess because they've done some due diligence before spending 33 billion this year alone on AI.

They can be trusted to act in their own interests

Which is why effective regulation is needed.

EU regulators assume nothing is safe until proven otherwise

US regulators assume everything is safe until proven otherwise

I'd probably trust a proper standards regulator like the ISO over politicians who have woefully low levels of tech knowledge
