What is geoscience?

Geoscience (also called Earth Science) is the study of Earth. Clickbait. Ocean currents, and the means by which they redistribute heat, have been both a known mechanism, and considered a significant factor, for a while.

We just don't know how significant it will be in the context of the PPM and temperature ranges we're looking at this century (e.g. what will trigger tipping points and feedback loops).
