Definitely get a weighted blanket.

Only minus to weighted blankets is that after getting used to it, it's even harder to get a good nights sleep in a hotel or especially a tent.

My MIL has a handful of these super thick Mexican (I think?) printed blankets that are heavy and fuzzy (but not in a sneezy way) that are just awesome for colder months. They're not quite officially weighted blankets, but they're pretty close, nice and snug and warm.

Edit: San Marcos blankets, I think they are called.
