Nah, pretty much ver batim. Rather than try to teach PhD-educated military-trained astronauts how to read the emotions of a drill, it was easier to teach oil riggers how to navigate orbital mechanics in a space vehicle well beyond it's operational capabilities. The shuttles were a poor choice for Earth orbit, which is why they were perfect to yeet into interplanetary space. We lost Bruce Willis in the process
