It doesn't, a few uploaders are doing it even though everyone has been asking them to stop.

The only people asking them to stop are weirdos that apparently think advertising doesn't work.

No one with a mental balance approaching healthy cares what creators do with their memes enough to whine at them about it either way.

I dont want to advertise lemmy to everyone, also most people will see you as cringe and weird if they even recognise what the logo is
