Why would I want to use them? Are they better than public trackers? Any good ones for anime?

I found that seeders aren't an issue with private trackers, my downloads are faster because of it.

For anime torrent sites i've never used one of those but they are likely your best bet: https://fmhy.pages.dev/videopiracyguide/#anime-torrenting
