Upgraded from 12 pro to 15 pro. Was running iOS 17 for a few days before the 15 arrived
Didn’t notice a difference on the 12 with iOS 17. Immediately saw a difference with the 15.
If I’m in an area of my house that has a weaker signal the 15 will sometimes drop all together. Spots that are typically stronger I’m seeing weaker signals on the 15.
Now I’m trying to move my extenders around just to cater to my phone and it’s a pain in the ass. I was hoping I’d see an improvement being able to use wifi 6E finally but it seems worse.
Thanks for sharing your experience, it’s helpful :)
Did you try turning off Wi-Fi Assist?
Settings->Cellular->Scroll down to the first option under the list of apps
That may help, I don’t know think it did anything for me though. I also tried changing VPN configs this afternoon & so far it’s been stable for the past couple of hours, who knows ¯\(ツ)/¯
