Safe take weed to a country where its illegal? (lemmy.world)

So i'm in a country where cannabis is legal. Back home it is illegal. How big of a risk is it to take something in the luggage (NOT carry-on)? Are those edibles that look like real candy safer?

I think you could disguise a small amount. But, as others have mentioned, jail really really sucks. So, if you are set on bringing some, I would advise edibles in the carry on.
