I've definitely turned into the paranoid nutcase within my friend group in recent years, I hate that everything is "smart" nowadays requiring an app/internet connection & account, just to do basic things that didn't require any of that before.

What's some things currently making you ramble like an old man?

Digital billboards. It's annoying that they have to cram more ads on the side of the road, but the worst part is that they're too damn bright and can be blinding at night and it feels like they make driving more dangerous because of this.

To expand on this, menus that are electronic and constantly change what's shown. Makes ordering much more challenging and I hate it.

Also, when they break, they can start flashing at maximum speed and brightness.

The owners should be held liable for any crashes that result from their deliberate choice to install machines for the explicit purpose of distracting drivers.
