One thing I like to do is take a picture of a messy area and set it as my phone wallpaper. I can't change it until I can photograph that same area after it's clean. It gives it urgency because I don't wanna go to send a text in public and advertise my literal dirty laundry lmao. It's also weirdly satisfying having a bunch of random before and after pics detailing where and when I've cleaned. I wish there was a better motivator than potential shame for me but it is what it is. I'm always taking random pics of floorboards and shit lol my camera roll is a wild ride
