Boss asks us to think up project work for us to do.
Why would I want to think up more work for myself?
The HR here can't work out why I won't jump through hoops for a bonus. We're asked to come up with extra things to be doing for more money and when I said "my plate is full and my wage is fine" she got sooo mad.
It's because the boss has no idea what to do, so it's on you now. And if you can't think of something, then you're not doing your job (in boss's eyes).
So I've got this project planned where I do nothing for a bit, and then I feel a bit better. Also I make sure to take bathroom breaks on the clock.
That is a brilliant project. 😂
one ten minute bathroom break a day
over a year, is one week's pay
maybe just space out for a while
This is the best kind of assignment. Sell them something that sounds complicated but will be a breeze for you. Receive the accolades. Winning at the game of work.
Exactly. I had to do the same for team goals for the new financial year. One goal is like 5 minutes of effort that sounds complex.
