Anyone ever replace a thermocouple on a gas stove?.... Seems like it'll be one of those things that costs a lot given the part will be $20...

Those things have thermocouples?

I thought it was just a fancy brick-lump on the gas tap.

Is this a safety feature where the ignitor keeps firing if it doesn’t detect the gas burning? Because it’s controlling the gas flow might need a gas plumber to do it?

Oh, interesting. I've never seen a gas stove with all of those. Just the spark-lighter.
