Hexbear has been getting a lot more attention and activity as of late, and while it is very fun to dunk on the new people posting on the site in bad faith, a post to appreciate the new good faith users contributing to the site seems like a great idea.

So, what new users do you appreciate, and what should other potential new users do to get the same reception?

Were you able to migrate your posts, subs, and comments? I didn’t realise lemm.ee was, well, what it is when I first joined. (I just liked the look of the double letters.)

Nah, I just kept my account on both places. I wanted to join Lemmy.ml but their sign ups were closed when I came over, so I chose lemm.ee because I couldn't find a lot of other places still federated with both Hexbear and Lemmygrad. Unfortunately, they're also fedded with exploding heads, but I've never actually seen a post from there. There's some content I want to see from .world that I can't get here now, like larger versions of some .ml communities. So I'm planning to just have 3 separate accounts with the same name to spread myself around and not worry too much about the disparity in subscriptions or anything.

Exploding heads has been shut down, because nobody on Lemmy wanted to accept their bullshit (they made a long post about it before they finally closed), so actually nobody is federated with them anymore

Oh that explains it then.
