I don’t like to see so many political posts in all and so many weird images in comment sections

you are viewing a single comment's thread
view the rest of the comments

Your post is on active right now. Just another casualty of active being the default sort.

I'm so tired of hearing this excuse. Are hexbear users incapable of changing the default sorting algorithm? Or for that matter, simply not commenting when you don't have anything relevant to add to the discussion?

I hardly see how pointing out why so many people saw the post and consequently commented on it is irrelevant.

Or at the very least less relevant than you complaining about me commenting.

[–] imaqtpie 4 points 1 year ago (2 children)

It's irrelevant because it doesn't absolve your behavior. Also, I'm not specifically referring to your comment, but rather to the 200 other comments from your comrades that are cluttering this thread.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by absolving my behaviour, I wasn't making any excuses for anyone just explaining why I thought there were so many Hexbear users in this thread.

If your problem wasn't with my comment, why are you complaining to me about irrelevant comment? I can't control where the rest of the site posts.

there is nothing to absolve

and she's not "making an excuse", she's giving you an explanation for our very fine, flawless behavior
