Have a look at https://lemmyverse.net/communities if you want to find more communities to add to you aussie.zone account, you can paste the full html address into https://aussie.zone/search and it should appear.

If you are the first person to point towards the community it will take 10+ seconds to populate.

That's a nicer search than the one linked on the aussie.zone main page. Although I find myself looking at most of the sites and thinking I really don't want a bunch of communities trying to be just like Reddit. I want something better!

I want to actually be able to have some ongoing conversations, to learn new things and not just repeat the same superficial things that tend to float to the top in the Reddit subs. I think there is a tendency for everyone to want to join in the biggest groups because that seems to be where more things happen, but smaller groups with people that are actually active and involved are much more rewarding.
