The fact that he's saying his fine, and his constituents and fellow party members are just accepting that is ridiculous. This is one of the most powerful people in the country, and he's glitching out. Somebody with some power needs to speak up.
It's never going to be a winning argument as long as the corpse of Feinstein is still being draped around Congress. This is an issue that is not party specific and won't go away soon.
100% he is being controlled by his staff.
