Another Canucks fan here. I never really participated in the reddit hockey community besides lurking around. Maybe I'll try and engage here more while there are less people around.
It doesn't look like there are too many team specific communities. It probably won't hurt to set them up now if people want. I personally think lemmy's still small enough that we'll need to put more love into the main hockey community to get it built up.
Yeah I didn't participate much on Reddit at all but I feel a bit more inclined given the size of this community. Team specific can come later if needed, just happy to find some other hockey fans!
Whenever I commented there there was a 50% chance of getting a snarky comment that really put me off most of the time. I hope this community stays positive for a while.
