Honestly this race wasn't exactly representative of driver skill as much as it was about team strategy and pure luck imo
He didn't crash, more experienced drivers did, so... 🤷

These factors of course have matter, but Lawson was quite competitive, given fact that he didn't have much time to prepare. As a substitute this result is fantastic. He wouldn't end up in this situation if he did drive poorly.
He can definitely write in his diary that overtook Leclerc.
