Dolly Parton gets a million points in my book for her Imagination Library. As a parent, it was invaluable to us as a way to provide our child with a revolving door of new books. And as a mail carrier, it makes me glad each time I drop one off. Dolly is GOAT.

It’s not available in our area (CT) do you know if there’s a way to pay imagination library for a subscription / alternatives?

You might find your answer here: https://support.imaginationlibrary.com/category/251-all-frequently-asked-questions

Do you not have a library nearby? Libraries were a huge part of my childhood. I can’t imagine not having them.

EDIT: This came up when I googled CT imagination library.

We do. But it’d be nice to have new books coming in every month.

No idea regarding Imagination Library having an alternative, even paid, subscription. As for an alternative service, it's not exactly the same but my kid has been enjoying Epic, a kid's reading app for phones and tablets that has subscriptions. Tons of books and many with narration.

Man, I have family that the only books they had were from that.
